This tropical ornamental ginger was given to me as a rhizome from a botany student of mine, and I have grown it for the past 10 years. Every fall it produces inflorescences with multiple bracts, resembling pine cones. This painting is framed in a gold frame; overall dimensions are approximately 34" x 34".
